In 2020 I am undertaking a Bachelor of Science (Honours) (Psychology) with two incredible supervisors (Dr. Tanya Machin and Professor Lorelle Burton) overseeing my qualitative study into social connection. My Honours thesis examines social connection in older people in regional Australia. It is anticipated that COVID-19 will significantly alter the original scope of the study. I'm really looking forward to working on qualitative research. I am already a fan of its reflexivity. Hence I am nervously planning for interviews to take place in April and May 2020.

From 2017 to 2019 I was completing a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences, with a Major in Psychology Major, and a Minor in Advanced Psychology, H2A. Several interests grew out of my studies, and post-grad looks really exciting with the possibility of working with my chosen supervisor. I am particularly interested in clinical research; positive psychology interventions for anxiety, grief, self-esteem and determination; and treatment of PTSD arising out of diaspora from conflict zones.

With my background in radio and audio engineering I started to develop a series of guided meditations, based on the positive psychology work of Seligman and Haidt, for use by psychologists. I am continuing to develop this series so it can be used by anyone seeking self-guided relief, regardless of whether they are currently undergoing therapy or not.

In mid 2016 I edited the second edition, first English translation, of the agricultural biosecurity flora and fauna sustainability book 'The Red Book of Tajikistan' under a United Nations programme for the UNDP Solar Team, and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

As a media consultant and designer I have worked extensively with the same clients for several years.
For clients, who are international agricultural based consortiums, I have produced short films (Northern Western Australia, the Gulf of Carpentaria  and Sumatra), designed campaigns and media kits, produced print ready media advertising, and developed marketing strategies for national expos. Photography shot while working on a muster project at Minnie Creek Station wa
s featured by National Geographic Australia.

I have freelanced for the West Australian's Countryman, and produced and presented two networked radio shows a day for Southern Cross Austereo. Freelance work outside my radio network won me the ACRA for Best Documentary.

Before moving into graphic design and broadcast media I worked extensively in theatre, appearing in the Melbourne International Festival of the Arts,  Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and at La Mama Theatre, the Carlton Courthouse, the Athenaeum 2, and The Store Room.

A playwright, my work has been published by Heinemann press, and produced in New York, Canada, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, and Perth.
I have held positions on the Board of Directors of Arena Theatre Company, the State Chair, National Chair, and sat on the International Council of Assitej (the international arts organisation affiliated with Youth Performing Arts Australia YPAA), as well as filling the Arts Industry Council's Theatre Chair for a year, among others.
